Dan Flanegan to Discuss Mobile Promotions and Advertising
SAN DIEGO, CA – October 22, 2004 – Soapbox Mobile, an application service provider (ASP) specializing in marketing, commerce and customer relationship management (CRM) applications for the mobile channel, today announced that the company’s chief executive officer, Dan Flanegan, will speak to a group of mobile industry leaders at the Mobile Entertainment Summit, an event co-located with the CTIA Wireless IT and Entertainment trade show.
The Mobile Entertainment Summit will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California on Sunday, October 24, 2004.
Flanegan, a recognized expert in developing software solutions for marketers, will be part of a panel addressing the topic of mobile promotions and advertising during the conference’s marketing track. The panel will also discuss best and worst practices for mobile marketers. Other participants on the panel include executives from Vodafone, Clear Channel Radio Interactive, Enpocket, Versaly Entertainment and Mobile 365. The discussion will be moderated by Alice Cuneo, west coast editor for Advertising Age magazine.
“With the rapid growth of mobile marketing in the United States, we find the industry at a critical stage,” said Flanegan. “It’s essential that proper procedures and guidelines be followed to ensure the continued effectiveness of the mobile channel.”
The Mobile Entertainment Summit, produced by iHollywood Forum, is the industry’s leading conference and showcase of mobile entertainment. The event is expected to draw over 800 participants.
