SAN DIEGO, April 10 -- Soapbox Mobile announced today that Sí TV -- America's first and only television network to target the millions of 18-34-year-old Latinos who prefer their entertainment in English -- has selected Soapbox Mobile as their mobile marketing partner. Soapbox will work with Sí TV to develop on-air mobile promotions and sweepstakes, programming alerts and unique content that ties into the network's programming.

According to Yankelovich Inc., more than half (56%) of Latinos 16-25 own a cell phone - 64% of those use text messaging and 39% have Web-enabled phones. As the largest ethnic group in the United States, Latinos are big buyers of mobile entertainment and high users of mobile data. According to M:Metrics, Latino subscribers typically purchase downloadable mobile content like games, ringtones, and graphics at twice the rate of that of the U.S. market average.
