Marketing Guru to Help Drive Company’s Strategy

SAN DIEGO--Oct. 19, 2006--Soapbox Mobile(TM), the leading provider of full-service mobile marketing solutions for major brands and entertainment companies, announced today the appointment of Rowland Hanson as co-chairman of the board of directors. Hanson, whose marketing guidance has been instrumental in the explosive growth of some of the largest global corporations, will provide strategic vision and direction to the company.

Hanson brings years of strategic communications experience to the Soapbox Mobile board of directors. Most notably, Hanson was Vice President of Corporate Communications at Microsoft, where he created and executed the company’s highly acclaimed branding strategy which included the market introduction of Microsoft’s most popular product -- a graphical interface that he named "Windows." Several books published on the history of Microsoft document his strategies that led to the dominance of the Microsoft and Windows brands.

Prior to Microsoft, Rowland served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Neutrogena Corporation, a skin care and cosmetics company that registered phenomenal growth during his tenure. Eventually, Johnson and Johnson acquired Neutrogena for a significant premium after determining that it could replicate the products, but it could not replicate the strength of the Neutrogena brand.

Currently Hanson is CEO of www.HansonMaslenGroup.com, a strategic consulting firm that he co-founded with Peter Maslen, the former President of Starbucks Intl. As a consultant over the last several years, Hanson has successfully applied his proven brand and business building strategies to a wide range of companies.

Hanson joins Curtis Hutten as Co-Chairman. Hutten is founder of Equal Elements, the lead investor in Soapbox Mobile. "We are excited to welcome Rowland to the leadership team of the foremost mobile marketing provider," said Hutten. "Mobile advertising and promotions are the new frontier in marketing, and the type of insight exhibited by Soapbox Mobile is the catalyst propelling the industry forward."
