Hollywood Gets Amp’d on Soapbox Mobile

For the first time ever, Amp’d Mobile subscribers can search for movies, select a theatre and show time and purchase tickets all through their mobile phones. Amp’d Mobile, the youth-oriented Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) has selected Soapbox Mobile’s Anywhere™ and MoneyClip™ applications to deliver this date-made-easy, premium subscription service to its customers.

In addition to providing Amp’d Mobile subscribers with the seamless ability to find movies and purchase tickets, Soapbox Mobile’s Anywhere™ application provides Amp’d Mobile with a powerful platform for marketing movie related promotions while enhancing the mobile relationship with its customers. The MoneyClip™ application, a mobile commerce platform, enables Amp’d Mobile users to securely register their credit cards against their Amp’d Mobile number. Once registration is complete, subscribers can easily purchase tickets on-the-go with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) and their Amp’d phone.

Using the Soapbox Anywhere™ mobile marketing platform, Amp’d Mobile can create SMS marketing campaigns directly targeted towards its opt-in ticket buying customers.
