The Web Application developer will be responsible for working with other personnel within and outside the department to understand their requirements and deliver internal and external web solutions. The candidate will be involved in design and development of web applications to satisfy the requirements gathered. Development includes coding, debugging, documenting and implementing. Candidate will also be responsible for the day to day support of these web applications and will be responsible for research and testing of new web technologies and techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing, modifying, and wherever possible, enhancing existing code to comply with industry best practices.
• Analyzing, designing and implementing enhancements to the web site as defined by business requirements and troubleshooting problems as necessary in order to maintain current business operations.
• Developing and supporting applications used for marketing and delivering wireless content.
• Performing all development tasks on time to meet business requirements.
• Documenting all development work as well as providing training, where required, to both technical and non-technical staff.

REQUIREMENTS

• FlashMX / ActionScript 2+ years
• DHTML / CSS / Javascript 2+ years
• PHP / Perl / Python / Ruby 1+ years
• C/C++ experience a plus
